Why I do it

The mission of Patrick Fry Consulting Services is to provide appropriate technology solutions for professional offices,small businesses and individuals.

Appropriate technology is the simplest and most benign technology that can achieve a given purpose. It takes into account an organization's technical desires, needs and prowess as well as its resources, personality and culture.

Appropriate technology benefits not only the organization using the technology but also the rest of society by lessening the consumption and stress that rapid technological change causes.

No business relationship can ultimately succeed without trust. I try to build trust by communicating my limitations and mistakes as well as my abilities and successes.

Why I do it .... really

The money of course, but this business is also fun. There are new toys to play with and new problems to solve all the time. I get to have relationships with lots of smart, interesting people with wildly varying views. Last but not least, my schedule is flexible, and most weeks there's time to play basketball .
